Autumn workshops opens door to new management information system

"Practice management company, Vet solutions, is holding a series of workshops this autumn to introduce users of its PremVet 5 system to the latest initiative, Data Major."

Data Major enables users to analyse data in the practice management system in whichever way they wish," says Vet solutions chief executive Julian Bryan. "It offers the ultimate in flexibility, so vet practices can generate management information on pretty much any parameter of data stored in the computer system."

As examples, Data Major allows veterinary practices to check out month-by-month procedures tallied by vet or nurse, client age profile, new clients over time or client profile by species. Results can be presented graphically or in tables.

"We have tested Data Major very successfully over the past few months. The autumn workshops will give all PremVet 5 users the opportunity to see it in action and get the most out of it."

The one day workshops start on Monday 23 September in Winchester and will also be held in Cardiff, Peterborough, Manchester, York and Motherwell.
