New
software offer from Vet solutions speeds up business analysis
Leading
supplier of veterinary practice software, Vet solutions, has
developed new software to facilitate simple and quick analysis
of the practice business. Named Data
Major, this new software has been added to the latest version
of the practice management software, PremVet5. It is available
free of charge to all supported PremVet5 users.
"Data Major enables
veterinary surgeons and practice managers to review the financial
and management performance of their business and monitor progress,"
says Vet solutions chief executive Julian Bryan. "Examples
would be a comparison of cash flows month on month or year
on year, or reviews of treatments over defined time periods
or by person."
Developed to
amass and organise data very quickly and be very user friendly,
the new software can integrate seamlessly with Microsoft tools
such as Access or Excel. This means that selected data can
be presented graphically, or on tables, or be used as part
of a database allowing managers to see at a glance how the
business is progressing.
"We will be featuring
Data Major on our stand at the BSAVA Congress in April and
including a brief introduction at the workshops held over
the three days. These will be followed by more specific Data
Major training sessions later in the spring, either one to
one or in small groups of three or four."
