Vet solutions strengthens support team

Leading supplier of veterinary management systems, Vet solutions, has strengthened its support team by appointing two new staff. Based at the Edinburgh office, both have experience in computer systems and the veterinary profession.

Kirsten Ogilvie has joined the team from a local veterinary practice which uses the Vet solutions PremVet5 system. As head veterinary nurse Kirsten understands the pressures in a practice and can readily relate to support problems from a user's perspective.

Also joining the support team is Iain Miller  who was production manager of a national PC manufacturer until recently and earlier in his career spent three years building computers for use with management programs in the veterinary profession.

"We have seen a big increase in the number of users who are taking out hardware support contracts with Vet solutions," says chief executive Julian Bryan. "Over 20 per cent of our customers have recently switched to Vet solutions support.

"It is important that we provide first class support as efficiently as possible so that users get the most out of their systems. For these reasons, we have made sure our support team is well resourced with experienced people."
